Develop and maintain the .NET web platform and APIs, working directly with founders on feature priorities and with customers to diagnose and resolve issues.
Led delivery of YardandGroom's React Native app as sole developer and project manager, building it with agentic AI tools (Claude Code, Codex). Set requirements and technical direction, reviewed generated code for performance and production readiness, and owned testing, release and ongoing maintenance. Launched on iOS and Android in May 2026 with 2,000+ downloads.
Reduced Azure costs by over 50%, mainly by reorganising App Services and reducing service tiers to what was needed, alongside AI-assisted database query optimisation and improvements to the existing Redis caching.
Manage Azure staging and production deployments, secrets and monitoring; use Application Insights to investigate production errors and memory leaks.
Validate releases by having AI tools write and run unit tests, then manually testing affected features against AI-generated regression checklists. Review AI-proposed implementation plans and challenge unnecessary complexity.
